Growing Bacteria

What you need:

Petri dish

Agar jelly

Cotton bud

Dirty surface

Tape

Method:

First, you need to make the Agar jelly 

Then, You pour it into the Petri dish 

After that, you need to put the petri dish in the fridge to set.

Next, you wipe your Petri dish on the dirty surface. 

Then, you wipe it on the agar in the petri dish.

Finally, seal the petri dish with tape and wait for your Bacteria to grow.

I noticed that my Petri dish grown with one side and the other side didn't I noticed some of the other Petri dishes got more bacteria than me I wonder why the toilet seat didn't get more bacteria than the drink bottle.

 

Sphero Ramps

I worked with Possa.  The challenge was to build a ramp and see how far the sphero can go.

The ramp was made out of cardboard and we used tape to stick it all together.

I think it was about 8cm tall. It was hard to make it strong.

It was hard to control the sphero. We had to practice to drive the sphero over the ramp.

Our sphero travelled 45cm.
