Written Reflection: The story I will tell my children
When I was younger…
We went into lockdown because of covid-19
Over a million people died.during the lock down I had a birthday And I turned 9. We moved house and i got a new lime green scooter for my birthday.
What I learnt was to keep safe i had to use hand sanitizer, keep a safe distance away from people and stay in my bubble. I felt safe and then log done because I was with my family . Fun in the lock down because I got to play with my family and go on big long walks. I wonder when this covid 19 will be over,I can't wait until I get back to normal . But I love being back at school …..?

Congratulations on making another blog post Hunter. I am glad to hear you are loving being back at school - it has been such a good week. Like you, I wonder when Covid 19 will disappear- but it does feel like things are starting to get back to normal. Is there anything in particular you are wanting to do? Play sport maybe?

Hi Hunter. Yes millions of people have caught Covid 19, however luckily most have recovered. I think we have all learned a lot about how to take good care of ourselves and show kindness. I felt safe at home too. I think we are lucky to be in New Zealand as things seem to be slowly getting back to normal. It's great to be back at school isn't it!
